How do I create a collection?

What are Collections?

You can use Collections to organise and showcase your photography by niche, style, or theme within the Irys app.

Before you start

Collections pull images from your Irys Gallery, so make sure you’ve uploaded your photos to the app before creating a Collection.

Step 1: Create a Collection

Go to your Irys profile and tap Create Collection.

Step 2: Set up your Collection

Here, you can:

• Give your Collection a name

• Add a short description explaining the theme or purpose

• Start adding images (covered in the next step)

Step 3: Add images

Tap Add Images to open your Irys Gallery and select the photos you want to include.

• Free members: up to 25 images per Collection

• Premium members: unlimited images

Once selected, tap Confirm. You’ll be taken back to the setup screen, where a new option will appear to choose a cover image.

       

Step 4: Choose a cover image

Tap Choose Collection Cover and select an image from your Collection.

This image will be used as the thumbnail for the Collection on your profile.
Once selected, you’ll see a tick next to Choose Collection Cover, and the Share button will become active.

   

Step 5: Publish your Collection

Tap Share to publish.

Your Collection will now appear under the Collections tab on your profile.
