In this article, we'll explain what Spotlight Groups are and how they work.

What is a Spotlight Group?
Spotlight Groups are groups set up by our brands and partners for the purpose of holding exciting competitions for our premium members.
You will find the Spotlight Group section by tapping the Spotlight symbol at the top of your screen (next to your notifications).
How does it work?
Spotlight groups work like normal groups, with one key difference : the images you share are entries into a competition!
Let’s say one of our partners launches a competition to win a camera. They choose a competition theme, post the full terms in their Group, set the image upload limit per member, and open submissions. You upload your best shots, connect with others entering, and you’re in with a chance to win — simple as that.
When the competition ends, the host reviews all submitted images, shortlists their favourites, and announces their winner(s).
If one of your images has been chosen, there will be a mention of it under the info button (wherever your image appears : in Gallery, Collections, Groups.... ).
How am I notified if I've won?
If you win a Spotlight Group, who will contact you depends on who runs the competition:
- Irys runs the competition - We will contact you directly.
A brand or partner runs the competition - They will contact you to arrange delivery of your prize.
The competition ended, is that it?
Not at all! Each Spotlight Group can host multiple competitions (one at a time), and several competitions can run across different Groups at once. So stay engaged and keep an eye out for the next one!
