Below, we'll explain how leaving Premium works and the steps you'll need to complete to make sure your free account is set up how you'd like it.
As a reminder, the features available on our Free plan are:
- Post up to 10 images per day (up to a maximum of 100 images)
- Create 2 Collections with up to 25 images each
- Join up to 5 Groups.
If you've gone beyond these limits while using Premium and decide to cancel, you'll need to let us know what you want to keep.
When you cancel, you'll be asked to let us know the following information:
1. Let us know why you're leaving
2. We'll let you know that Groups you've created will be paused once your Membership ends, then archived 2 weeks later.
3. If you're part of more than 5 Groups, we'll ask you which ones you'd like to keep access to when you switch to a Free account. You'll lose access to the rest of them.
4. If you've got more than 2 Collections, we'll ask you to choose which ones you want to keep.
5. You've successfully completed your Premium cancellation.
FAQ
Are my groups deleted?
We'll archive your groups for 2 months and you can reclaim them by rejoining Premium. If you don't rejoin within this time, they'll be deleted.
Can other people post in the groups?
No, once you cancel Premium, the group will show as unavailable to other Irys members.
What if I've uploaded more than 100 images and cancel my Membership?
As the limit on a Free account is 100 images, you won't be able to upload more if you've already hit the limit. You'll need to either delete some or rejoin Premium to continue uploading.
Do I need to decide what I'm keeping immediately?
No, you can decide later as long as it's before your Membership ends. As you get towards the end of your Membership, we'll remind you again.
